Orange Pumpkin

The majority (about 95%) of our revenue comes from the orange pumpkin. We work with various varieties that we distribute across different soil types and climate zones. The varieties we cultivate are carefully selected for taste and quality. We do this, among other things, by measuring brix (sugar content). This ensures that this versatile ingredient can be used in the kitchen. Our most cultivated varieties are Flexi Kuri F1 and Orange Summer.

An important characteristic of this pumpkin is that it does not need to be peeled, making it easy to process in the kitchen. Orange organic pumpkin has a mild flavor. It is delicious when roasted in the oven or made into creamy pumpkin soup.

Properties

The new red pumpkin variety Flexi Kuri F1 has excellent growth vigor with high production. It also germinates easily, which is particularly advantageous during less than ideal growing conditions.

Additionally, Flexi Kuri F1 is a trailing variety with uniform fruits weighing between 1.0 and 1.4 kilograms. The fruits have a beautiful, dark red color that remains after storage. The shelf life of this variety is high: after harvest, it can be stored until mid-January. However, it is important to harvest on time, as the fruits ripen earlier than Orange Summer.
